I am rejoicing with you! God has called another soldier to his reward. I was shepherded by Rev. Felder at Trinity East UMC. I learned from him that the Spirit really does make the difference. I thank God for lending Rev. Felder to us for a while.

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord..."

It saddened our hearts to hear of the home going of Rev. Felder. The Felder and Humphrey families have shared a friendship for well over 40 years. He, like his wonderful parents, were very loved. Rev. Felder was a dedicated servant and shepherd to many persons in the United Methodist Church and to the various communities in which he lived. His passing is a great loss here on earth, but as he has said so many times in preaching.... "Angels get my mansion ready, I'm on my way." June 13th, the Angels sent word to him that it was finally ready. And now they are rejoicing at his heavely arrival.

A good man, a dedicated shepherd and servant, a loving husband, father, brother and friend. That was the personality of Rev. Robert E. Jones Felder.

We will forever cherish his memory. May God bless and keep you as you go through this season of bereavement. Our prayer is that God will give you the strength to face each coming day.

Good Night, Rev. Felder, we'll see you in the morning.

To the family of Rev. Robert E. Felder:

I can envision Rev. Felder in Glory Land sitting at the feet of our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ. Rejoice! He is at peace, and is in intercession for us while we remain on this earth. He was my spiritual father (on this earth). He gave me the spiritual guidance and support I needed in making my decision to submit to God's call on my life, and (after answering God's call), the encouragement I needed to stay the course. I thank God for the opportunity to have known him, and grow spiritually under him. He was a great man of God, while on this earth. His spirit lives on. "The Spirit makes the difference."

My prayers are with you.

I Love you and God Bless.....
