Robert Kerian Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Elaine, six sons, one daughter, fifteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren: His children - Robert Jr. (Kristi) of Dallas, TX, grandchildren Kathryn and Claire; Paul (Patricia) of Valley Stream, NY, granddaughters Morgen, and Raine; Marie Jackson (Kevin) of Big Lake, MN, grandson Ryan Jackson, and great granddaughter Shayla; Joseph of The Woodlands, TX, grandchildren Stephanie Kerian-Vaughn (Eric), Sophia, Sarah Boyd (Richard), and great grandchildren Bailey and Ava; Thomas (Vicki) of Brooklyn Park, MN, and grandchildren Casey, Elizabeth, and Kaylee; James (Janet) of Fertile, MN, Tanner and Tyler; and Timothy (Nancy) of St. Paul, MN, Monica, Katie, Genevieve, and Luke.
Robert is survived by his sister, Bernadette Campbell, of Jacksonville FL, and was preceded in death by his older brother Jon. Both of Robert's siblings raised many beloved nieces and nephews. Robert was also proceeded in death by his granddaughter Lisa Jackson, and his parents Cecil and Elizabeth Kerian.
Robert was devoted to his family and faith. He was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, The Woodlands, TX, and the Knights of Columbus. Generous to a fault, Robert had extraordinary and invariable respect, humility, and kindness for all those he encountered and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched. Robert was an avid sportsman and loved to hunt and fish, and his family has many precious memories of hunting and fishing with "Bob". For much of his career, Robert owned and co-operated a water-treatment company in northern Minnesota with his wife Elaine.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 11:00 AM.
