SARAH WALSH Obituary

SARAH FAITH KANE WALSH of The Woodlands, TX, went to meet her Maker on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 1:01pm at Memorial Hermann Hospital after a long battle with cancer.Born in Houston, TX to Kathleen Kane Melendrez and Doug Kane. She had recently obtained her Real Estate License and was employed with Caldwell Banker United Realtors in The Woodlands, TX.Sarah recently married the love of her life, Aaron Walsh who resides in The Woodlands with two wonderful dogs. Prior to beginning her career in real estate she was a Leasing Manager for a local apartment community. During this time she found it a passion of hers to fit the housing needs of those entering the area. She loved to spend her free time working out, reading, taking her dogs to the dog park and exploring what this wonderful area has to offer.Sarah has fought a good fight and been a great source of inspiration, strength, and courage to all of us. Sarah is survived by her husband, Aaron Walsh; her mother, Kathy Kane Melendrez; her father, Doug Kane; her sister, Kimberly Kane Gilmer, her brother in law Doug Gilmer and their children, Garrett, Whitney and JP; her brother Daniel and nephews Chase and Caleb; her sister Rebecca Kane; brother Joseph; her in-laws, Donna and Pete Walsh and sister in law, Ashlyn Walsh.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday at Klein Funeral Home, Magnolia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday March 10, 2010, at the Fellowship of the Woodlands, 1 Fellowship Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77384.

The news of Sarah's passing came as such a shock, I think all of us at Coldwell Banker United thought that we would soon see her vibrant presence back in class any day. We have only just learned what was behind her obvious enthusiasm for life, and are so saddened that she wasn't blessed with more time. I know I speak for everyone in her training group when I say that we will never forget her.

Sarah joined Coldwell Banker United Realtor, The Woodlands over a month ago. She was a joy to know. During her short time as one of my agents, she touched so many heart in our office. We are so sad to lose this amazing young lady! Sarah is an inspiration to me and those who met her! May she rest in peace.
