It was an honor getting to know Mr. Chazen through his leadership with Occidental and his service on the Houston Methodist Education Board. He was inquistive and supportive of our ongoing efforts to enhance medical education, a true passion of his. Rest in peace, Mr. Chazen, and condolences to the Chazen family.

I'm so glad that I got the chance to get to know Steve. We worked together on education projects at Houston Methodist. He always had an interesting observation and a witty remark. He was juts one of those people that one naturally likes and appreciates. I only wish I had more time with him. Deepest sympathy for his family.
