For Mary, Dorothy, and family,
You have suffered a loss and my sympathy is with each of you. Fortunately, Steve left many footprints behind. He was absorbed and highly qualified as a Ham operator while just a teen. He loved playing many sports and he loved his family and friends. Steve was always Steve: friendly, warm, loving and loyal. We will ALL miss Steve. Forget him...impossible!!!

My sincere condolences to the Gunn family and especially you Mom, Dorothy. It has been along time since I have seen most of my school friends but I hold in deep esteem Steve and the many memories of growing up in Alva with him... stopping by after school at your house across from the Jr High. Whenever I face times like these I reminded of the truth "grief is the price we pay for the ability to love" May your grieve be shortened by the love of your son, husband, father, and our friend Steve.
Blessings,
Timm Jackson

Dear Family,
I worked with Steve for a short while but I greatly admired the courage he had during his illness. I also had great appreciation for his efforts to extend kindness and embrace all personalities. I will pray that you (Steve's family) will be comforted by the Holy Spirit as needed. Please trust in the Lord now, He will see you through the sad times. God Bless

Dorothy, I remember a lot of times that 4 or 5 of us would be over at your house and growing up together over a 15 to 20 year peroid. I saw Steve about 5 years ago in Alva and Steve, Stan Ferguson and I had a long good conversation after everyone else had gone to bed. We will miss our friend -- Gunner!

Gunner, this is a sad time for us all. But we are also very fortunate to have wound up coming to Houston the same year and living in the same complex at the same time.
Put one in the hole for us buddy. We're all be there when we answer the call.

I remember Steve before he worked for Fisk, and during the time he worked for and became friends with my father Kirby. I got to know Steve as an extended member of the Lincke family.
My prayers are with every loved one - that you will have the comfort and peace that you need right now.

My thoughts and prayers are with
his family. I didn't work directly with him at the City of Houston but
we spoke when ever we passed in the hall. He was always polite and
kind.
