Judge Hatten was a unique individual who served his community with great devotion. He served on The Charter Bank board for many years, offering his counsel and support. My condolences go out to his family.

Judge Hatten has been on my mind this past week. We lost another District Judge the past week, Richard L. Abrams. It brought to mind Judge Hatten, a friend of my Schill family, whom I served with on Charter Bank Board many years ago. I also served on a jury in his court. He was a pillar of the community particularly on the North Side. A wonderful man.

I´m so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you all. Please know that your loved one is safe in God´s memory (Proverbs 14:14,15). Just as he brought his son Jesus back to life, he will do the same for your loved one. May God give you comfort and strength to help you cope during this difficult time.
