Jason Gagnon Obituary
Two Rivers - Jason Jon Gagnon 41, was granted his angel wings on April 28th, 2018. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Jason had touched in some small way, throughout his short yet very memorable life.
Jason's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you love it. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard with courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He enjoyed attending his day service program with friends and staff, loved giraffes, watching monster trucks and going on trips and camping with family.
With Jason's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him every day he will always remain forever in our hearts.
Jason leaves behind many wonderful care givers that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. There is a special place in our hearts for Jason's team of special Doctors and Nurses for their continual dedication, love and support that allowed him to survive some of his toughest challenges.
Jason is survived by his loving Mother, Marie Gagnon of Two Rivers, WI, Brother and Sister in-law, Bryan and Sheri Gagnon, Ottawa, KS along with Aunt Betty and Uncle Bob Cavanaugh of Reedsville, WI and Aunt Julie Springstube of Manitowoc, WI.
Jason was proceeded in death by his loving Father, Joseph Gagnon, maternal grandparents Howard and Esther Geier, paternal grandparents Ernestine Gagnon and Joseph Gagnon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family wishes to thank all the staff of the ICU at Aurora Medical Center of Grafton, especially his nurse Liz, for all the care and compassion shown to Jason.

Marie, I dont know if you remember me , its been a few years. I took care of Jason in your home on a respite visit and later you brought him out to where I worked. Jason touched all of us. I had a special needs brother so Jason touched my heart strings. Your love and care were so inspirational and God will bless you abundantly. I will always remember your family. Dear Marie,
I just noted this sad announcement through Facebook. We do not get the paper and I am so so sorry I missed the tribute to Jason. He made me a better person and you know that I have always loved his mamma! I will be calling you soon. Peace with you. His memory will never leave us. Love, Nan

Marie Gagnon and Family: I was so saddened for you , hearing of Jason"s passing. I will always remember how his smile ,just lite up a room. I was one of the instructional aids in Peggy Shimulunas's classroom. Praying through this very difficult time, that you will feel God 's presence and he will give you ,comfort and peace.

My sincere condolences to Jason's family, losing one so young and so loved is devastating. I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging and heartbreaking time. (Isaiah 61:1,2)
