Michael Fricke Obituary
Michael R. Fricke, age 68, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Mikey was born on March 23, 1946 in Manitowoc to the late Roy and Catherine Gallenberger Fricke. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1964. In May of 1981, Mikey married Mary A. Bydalek in Manitowoc. Between working at Manitowoc Equipment Works and Federal Mogul, Mikey worked side-by-side with his wife Mary raising and breeding tropical fish. He enjoyed spending his time woodworking, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, tinkering, and watching NASCAR and the Packers. Mikey was a genuinely nice guy who always lent a helping hand whenever he was needed.
Survivors include Mikey's wife of 32 years: Mary; three children: Craig Fricke, Rachel (Keith) Graff, and Renee (Joel) Kubsch, all of Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Ryan, Nathan, and Connor; two great grandsons: Lucas and Vincent; brother: Tim Fricke, Manitowoc; two sisters: Pam (Dale) Kuntsman, Hayward; and Gail (Alan) Young, Shoto; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A life celebration social will be held for family and friends on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
Mikey's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center's ER and CCU staff for the excellent care and support they provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Mikey's name.

My wife Donna and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to Mike's entire Family. Mike was a good friend as we were growing up together. All the neighborhood children spend numerous hours at the family home. Fricke's young center, with Ma Fricke in charge, was a great outlet of enjoyment for all the kids. Mike your passing is a sad day for all who knew you.
