Barbara Luque Obituary
The family lived in Glasgow for a short time before moving to Nampa. Barbara attended Nampa schools until her senior year when her family moved to Yakima Washington. She graduated Eisenhower High School in 1959. She attended University of Idaho where she was in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and was later a flight stewardess. In 1963 she married Joe Luque and had 2 daughters, Mollie and Jill. They later divorced.
Mom worked part time at JC Penney and then for Doctors Jensen and Martinez until she retired.
Mom loved to travel and entertain. She was a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi. Mom was adventurous, she traveled extensively and took many memorable trips abroad. She also loved road trips to see where she would end up. Plus she enjoyed hiking and camping.
She was very involved with her grandchildren and spent a lot of time with them. She took them on some fun trips, which they all remember.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Mollie (Jim) Lankford and their children Sam and Hannah, Jill (Jeff) Hilton and their children Calli, Tyler, Mackenzie and Laura. She also has 12 great grandchildren. One sister Bette (Will) Childs.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 9th at Jill & Jeff Hilton's home at 8462 Melmont Road, Melba ID.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice.

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing, out of pain and suffering but not out of our memories. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend. She was a dear sister in Beta Sigma Phi.
