9/14/1923 - 4/19/2012
Catherine Elizabeth Wiley Cox, 88, of Homedale Idaho died Thursday April 19th 2012 at a local care center. Catherine was born September 14th 1923 in St. Marys, Kentucky to Joseph John De Nardi Sr. and Mary D. Settles. After high school Catherine lived her life in Long Beach, California and Meridian Idaho. She worked as a office manager for Boise Ada Disposal. Catherine had many hobbies that she enjoyed with her family. She enjoyed Camping, Fishing, and different arts and crafts and was a great seamstress. She was a wonderful baker, making great pies and amazing chocolate cakes. She loved her family, flowers and Nature. Catherine was a long standing member of the Church of the Nazarene. Catherine is survived by her husband of 22yrs, Lloyd Cox of Homedale; 3 daughters Carol Belcher of Boise; Dorita Seamons of Meridian; Faye Heilesen of Boise; 2 Sisters Theresa Snyder, and Betty Gibson, and 1 Brother Joe Denardi. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 2 daughters, her first husband and 1 great granddaughter. A viewing will be held on Thursday April 26th 2012 at Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 150 W Maestra St. Meridian, from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday the 27th, at 1:00 PM at Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. Services are placed in the care of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, Meridian. 888-4454

Grandma I will miss you! You always treated me as if I was one of your own grand-children. I don't think I have ever met another woman who was as kind and loving as you! You were always there for your friends and family. I know you are dancing in heaven with my sweet girl! Rest in Paradise Grandma. I love you!

Will be greatly missed, was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to, me and grandma had a great relationship her being short and me being tall, " can you get that for me". She always new how to make me feel good. I'll always remember geowing up and having nights.over at grandmas with all the other grandkids. Thank you grandma for everything I love you.

I Spent lots of time over @ Catherines with Faye when I was in school. She had such a sweet spirit and was so caring & kind.. Saw her about 6 months ago for the first time in about 30 yrs. Looked amazing. .......Love & Many Blessings to her Family during this very difficult time of loss.
What a reunion in Heaven she is having!
