Richard Pritchett Obituary

Richard Lloyd Pritchett of Nampa, passed away Jan. 17, 2011.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 22, at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4225 E. Fairview Ave., Meridian.
Richard was born May 3, 1945, to Donley and Agnes Pritchett, on a farm at Cherry Lane and Ten Mile, Meridian.
Richard attended Roosevelt grade school and Meridian High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Richard married Chris Hoadley in 1965, had a daughter, Kemberly Richelle. They divorced in September of 1969.
Richard was drafted into the Army in late fall of 1969 and attended boot camp at Fort Ord, Calif. He spent his overseas duty in Alaska.
Richard drove truck for NACA, hauling potatoes for 15 years. He met and married Sharon in 1975, raised stepchildren, Kimberly and Scott and divorced in 1987.
Richard helped his nephew with their racecars at Meridian Speedway.
At the time of his death he was working at Great American Appetizers in Nampa.
He is survived by a daughter, Kemberly Cross and husband Meicheil and five grandchildren; two brothers, Don Pritchett and wife Peggy of Nampa, and Lester and Beverly Pritchett of Fruitland; a sister, Arlene (Dansereau) Cellan of Boise, and numerous nieces and nephews.
