Ronald Page Obituary

Nampa - Ronald Louis Page, November 18, 1938 - August 1, 2025

Ronald Louis Page passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 86. Born in Akron, Ohio, on November 18, 1938, Ron lived a life marked by service, hard work, and a deep love of the outdoors.

He graduated from high school in Oakland, California, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1961, stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base. Following his honorable discharge, Ron married Janice Shurtz, and together they had two sons, Ronald and Lance.

Ron later returned to California, where he began a long and successful career with Pacific Gas & Electric, ultimately retiring as a Fleet Manager. Known for his strong work ethic and practical nature, Ron found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life, and in retirement, he discovered a passion for golf, which he pursued daily for many years. He also had a lifelong love for dogs, especially his loyal companion in his later years- a spirited Shih Tzu named Shih-Tze, who brought him great joy and companionship.

Ron is survived by his son, Lance Page; grandson, Jaden Page; granddaughter, Macie Page; and sister, Barbara Mitrick. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep appreciation for nature, and the steadfast loyalty he gave to his family and four-legged friends alike.
