Sharon Krause Obituary

Nyssa, OR - Sharon Jeanne Krause, 85 of Nyssa, passed away on August 7, 2025. Born on June 23, 1940, to Dyre and Eleanor (Goldie) Roberts in Nampa, ID. Sharon grew up on the family farm alongside her brother Wayne, and identical twin sister Karen in Adrian, OR. After graduating from Adrian High School, Sharon married her high school sweetheart David Krause on June 1st, 1958, and the coupled settled in Nyssa, OR. Sharon started her career in banking and was a dedicated bank employee and worked in banking for almost forty years. In her spare time, she and David enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, enjoying time with family, friends, and her 2 poodles, Petie and Peppie. After both Sharon and David retired, they enjoyed being snowbirds and spending the winters in Quartzsite, AZ. Sharon was well-known for her well-maintained yard and loved to be outside working in her yard and flower beds.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Dyre and Goldie Roberts, her husband David Krause, sister-in-law Rose Roberts, niece Rochelle Garver, and her two beloved poodles Petie and Peppie.

She is survived by her twin sister Karen (Jim) Carroll of Adrian, OR, brother Wayne (Nelda) Roberts of Petaluma, Ca, and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Two Rivers Park in Adrian, OR on August 23, 2025 at 12-2pm
