Vivian L. Woolery of Caldwell Idaho, passed away on April 1st, 2018.
Vivian was born on February 21, 1931 in Max, Nebraska to Lawrence and Ethel McDermott. The family moved to Roberts, Idaho in 1935 and then to Pocatello in 1940. Vivian graduated from Pocatello High School in 1949. Vivian joined the U.S. Navy as a Wave in 1950 and was discharged in 1954. Vivian then married Robert L. Grimmell at Great Lakes, Ill. In 1953. They later divorced. She worked for the Federal Government as a Payroll Clerk at the Long Beach Naval shipyard and Secretary at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Vivian returned to Pocatello in 1964 and went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad where she met the love of her life, Raymon L. Woolery from Omaha, Nebraska. They were married on November 14, 1970 in Pocatello and resided in Omaha. Raymon also worked for the U.P. Railroad as a Senior Quality Control Supr. in Omaha.
Vivian is survived by her step children, Rick Woolery(Leslie) Caldwell, Gary Woolery (Cari) Caldwell, and Deb Hatfield (Alan) Salmon, Idaho, Grandsons Carson and Logan Woolery, Caldwell, Idaho, Granddaughters Kari Mayo, Boise and Sara Havleck of Sterling, Idaho, and her best friend and loving companion of 47 years, Raymon L. Woolery. She was preceded in death by Grandson Drew Woolery, her Parents, Lawrence and Ethel McDermott and her Sister Phyllis Lewis. By her request, she will be cremated with no services.
