Dear Sutton Family,
I just found out about Durrell today and I feel so empty. I struggled with Durrell through so much. I met him in Ogden right before he divorced. He has been and remained a very important part of my life and my truest friend. Please know that I love him dearly, as did so many. He was so easy to love and be loved by. My heart goes out to you. He loved all of you so much and I know you know that too. You were always considered in everything he did. He spoke so well of you all and wanted me to meet you guys about ten years ago to "show you off". We never made the trip because I lived in a different state most of our friendship. He gave me some heart felt advice not too long ago, helping me as he always did. If any of you would like a copy, I would love to share it with you. Although he could be as stubourn as a mule, he was usually right(with me anyway). Thinking of you all and thanking you for loving him.

Thinking of Durrell makes me smile. Hearing of his passing took my breath away and brought with it tears. He was a dear person. His soul was good. I liked him a lot and felt like years could pass and you could talk with him like you'd just seen him yesterday. I am truely saddened at your loss and ours as well.

Sutton Family,

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Durrell, and even more saddened to learn I had missed the viewing and funeral. He was and is an incredible person, with a love for many different people. He made work absolutely enjoyable for me, and I will truly miss him. My condolences from my family and I as well as the many who worked with him at Alphagraphics!

Sutton Family
I have been so shocked and saddened by the loss of Durrell.
I went to school with him and considered him a good friend.
His beautiful voice and smile will never be forgotten. I opened up my school yearbooks and looked at all of the art work that he has done. He was always kind to everyone.
He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers of comfort are with you.
