Gregory Mann Obituary

Gregory Howard Mann, age 53, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family April 26th, 2024 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

He was born August 14, 1970 to Leigh Mann and Judith Kesteleyn in Los Angeles, California. He was the eldest of three children and was raised in Pocatello, where he called home. He met the love of his life, Shelly Keller, while attending Franklin Junior High School. Later they attended and graduated from Pocatello High School after which they moved to Idaho Falls, married, and started their family. A few years later, they moved back to Pocatello into their forever home where they raised their two children.

He began working as a young man while in high school and found a love for construction work. He continued working during his radiation and chemotherapy treatments, up until the very end; only when he was physically unable to do so. He was the hardest worker you'd ever meet. He found much pride in his work and was able to have had a significant role in building many projects around Pocatello. The people that worked alongside him at Intermech were great friends, it made working during treatment a rewarding experience for him. The love and support he received from his coworkers and friends helped him during his battle with cancer more than they will ever realize.

His hobbies were fishing, camping, tinkering, and most of all, spending time with his family. His family was his everything and he made sure everyone knew that. He loved being a husband, father, and grandfather and left his family with many incredible memories.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scott. He is survived by his wife, Shelly, children, Robert (Jill) and Shylee, grandson, Dawson, and sister, Amy.

Services will be held at Wilks Funeral Home (211 W Chubbuck Rd. Chubbuck, Idaho) on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Followed by a grave site dedication and burial at Mountain View Cemetery (1520 S 5th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho). There will be a reception following at Wilks Funeral Home.

Our heartfelt condolences to Greg´s family. It was our joy to know Greg as a little boy in California. He was a delightful child and a real cutie. His mom was very proud of his accomplishments and his beautiful family. Take comfort in your memories of him.
