Kristine 'Kris' Nelson
MIDVALE, Utah - Kristine "Kris," 46, passed away May 25, 2007, in Midvale, Utah. 
Kris was born September 10, 1960, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Nylan "Newt" and Doreen Woodland Nelson as the fifth of five children. Kris attended school in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School. 
After graduation she went to Florida and trained to be a flight attendant. She worked for Continental Airlines. She returned to Pocatello in 1986, worked as a dental assistant and moved to Utah. She was working as a dental assistant in Midvale at the time of her death. Kris loved to travel, garden flowers and scrapbook. 
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Kristine Nelson; mother, Doreen Nelson; sister, Karen (Dan) Nuckols of Idaho Falls; brothers, Kirk (Barbara) Nelson, Pocatello, Rick (Cindy) Nelson, Tooele, Utah,; Larry Nelson, Chubbuck; and fiancée, Michael Satterfield. She was preceded in death by her father, and grandparents, Dick and Ivy Woodland, and Frank and Cora Nelson.
Funeral services for Kris will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Whitaker Ward LDS Chapel on 4890 Whitaker Rd., with Bishop Verlynn DaBell conducting. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Internment will follow services Saturday at the Inkom Cemetery.

Nelson Family, I met Kris at Dr. Aste ofice and formed a friendship with Kris right away. We traveled to California and went wine tasting and had a great weekend! She was a very warm and loving woman and I will miss her dearly. Love to all of you, Margaret
