Lance Brown Obituary
September 13, 1973 - March 16, 2014
Lance Gerald Brown, 40, Pocatello, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at his home from natural causes. Lance Brown was born September 13, 1973, graduated Pocatello High School followed by some college in Anchorage Alaska.
He worked in construction, and passionately as a whitewater river guide on the Selway and Salmon River, then later as a Realtor in the Pocatello area. Lance was a loving friend, son, uncle and brother. Lance will leave a huge void in our hearts and be missed greatly day to day. He loved fishing, hunting and overall great outdoors. Some of his hobbies included tinkering with electronic gadgets, philosophizing life. His love of his dogs, family, friends and nieces and nephews was insurmountable. With his gift of gab he made friends with most every person's path he crossed.
Family includes, Gary Brown and companion Tamara Lish, Robert and Theresa Carter, Shane and Susie Brown, sons Mason and Colter Brown, Kim Brown and daughter Madeline Eaton and numerous other relatives.
Preceded in death by grandparents Paul and Velma Schell, William and Ella Mae Brown and Uncle Pete
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Chapel, 431 North 15th Ave., Pocatello, with the Reverend Roger J. Bray of the Central Christian Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the Cornelison Funeral Home from 12:30 -2:00 pm on Saturday. Interment will be in the Mount McCaleb, Cemetery, Mackay, Idaho. Memorials in Lance's name may be given to the Bannock Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, 232-0542. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com.

We were so sadden when Dad called us with the news. We wish we lived closer to be able to attend the service. I have so many fond memories of Lance. Growing up defending me when the other siblings were teasing me being the youngest. He was always there with great advice and a smile. Lance always had such a positive energy about him, that others were drawn in to his company. Thanks for always being the big, loveable teddy bear. We love you Lance. Our prayers are with the rest of our family as they mourn his loss.

So very sorry to hear of Lance's passing. A great guys all around even tho we will miss him terribly he is now at peace with God and his eternal life now begins.
