Niko has been gone, but his legacy and nobility has not gone. He left an example on this earth which gave us the understanding of the importance of how to live life no matter what afflictions or diseases which enter prior to our departure. His life was an inspiration to the many who knew him.

My previous message auto spelled Niko's name as Nico. And his legacy is with us as Niko, not Nixon. My error to not check the spelling. Niko lives in spirit.

Nico departed from us a year ago. When anyone leaves this earth, no money, position or title can leave with them. Service to loved ones and others, integrity, examples of caring, and simply establishing a legacy lasts with the people left behind. Nixon's legacy is with us. He is carrying on. A job well done! He still lives with us.

Nico loved his family, his friends, and fought to live so that he could stay in this world with the people he so loved. He would not give up as he fought to survive. He served his life to protect and make a safe world in his surroundings. He focused on knowing his fellow officers as human beings whom also aspired to provide a safe environment to the masses. He fought to not leave his family for the many years but finally God called him home. He completed a mission of both service and love. In the memories of his life, he is not gone, for he lives in our minds, our hearts, and our souls for his commitment to humans and loved ones. He is still and always be a part of lives which he so touched and shared. God has received him as a special soul who served, accomplished, and completed his mission on earth. He is now an inspiration for others to follow in his footsteps, before entering the Kingdom of Heaven.
