What can I say about
Tawnya? What can you say about someone who has always been in your life, from as far back as you can remember? My sister was always my shadow. She was two years younger but she made up for it in guts and determination. In our younger years, growing up in country houses, my brothers and sisters were our friends. We did everything together. We played hard and worked hard. We were instilled at a young age with the work ethics that stayed with us all our lives.
When she was 8 years old, we moved into the little town of Inkom, but she still was my little shadow. In town we made new friends and many of them are still good friends.
I have so many stories and memories of Tawnya. Too many for this message.
She will be missed so much by so many, family, friends and co-workers. Everywhere, and I mean, everywhere (it didn't matter if you were in another state) everywhere you went with Tawnya, people knew her and loved her. Her quick wit and humor always was close at hand. But she learned to quickly tell you if she thought you had crossed a line or needed some tough advice, she told you her thoughts.
She has a special relationship with each and everyone of us. She loved all her nieces and nephews. All will miss her terribly but with a legacy of wonderful memories.
She and I both worked in traditional male careers. We busted that glass ceiling wide open. (You're welcome Ladies). But it didn't come easy and she was one of the hardest working persons that I have ever known.
She got her first job at age 15 and first apartment promptly after with our beautiful adopted sister, Debbie Richardson. She never stopped working, paying her way until she retired from the Idaho Transportation Department in 2013. Sadly she only had about 4 years of retirement that she had worked so diligently for.

Tawnya, I love you so much. I am so brokenhearted and will miss you until we meet again.
