Walter DRAEGER Obituary
On January 10, 2014, Walter Draeger of Whitecourt, AB passed away at the age of 42 years.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda; two sons and one daughter, Tyler Boon, Michael Draeger and Shannon Draeger; mother, Jeanette Draeger; brother, Lawrence (Terry) Draeger and grandmother, Anne Kachur. Predeceased by his father, Terry Draeger.
Funeral Service Thursday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 4928 – 51 Avenue, Whitecourt with Pastor Trevor Scott officiating. Cremation will follow. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to a Trust Fund for his children at Scotiabank, 9927 – 100 Street, Morinville, AB T8R 1R4.

Almost a year has gone by, not missing you any less. The ache in my heart still wells up in my eyes, for the kids and my sister. So much has changed, you would be so proud of those kids...Michael is so tall, Shannon is taller than me now and turning into a beautiful young lady. They miss you, we all do. Walter was an outstanding man...I as well bowled against Walter for years and stayed in touch till graduation. 20+ years later with no contact between, ran into him and his wonderful family. Walter was a good friend, always looking out for everyone. When we were bowling it was so much fun. I grew up with Walter, graduated with him and bowled with him as far back as I can remember. Walter and I always competed to see who would get a higher score. Ok fine I always tried to beat Walter. He was a fantastic bowler and my 220 average barely kept up to him but I loved every minute of it. Will miss him.
