Her childhood and early years were spent in Washington, Arizona, and California as they went where her father could train race horses. On July 20, 1947 she married the love of her life, Charles H. She sold the home in Walla Walla, Washington in 2002 and bought a home in Boise, Idaho to be closer to her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She captured and shared her family history with other family members to continue the legacy of her life. She will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Her grandchildren include Patricia (Bogle) Pace and James Pace of Boise, Greg Bogle and Kristina Bogle of Meridian, Michelle (Drury) Tripp and Ruben Tripp of Kuna, Michael Drury and Jennifer Drury of Cascade, and Jennifer (Drury) Bergstrom and Jason Bergstrom of Aurora, Colorado.
