Meridian, Idaho - Darla passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022 at Meridian St. Luke's hospital at the age of 63. Darla was born on September 8, 1958 in Boise, Idaho at St. Luke's hospital. Moved to Meridian, Idaho in 1994. Darla is survived by her husband Ricardo Cortez and three children, Jessica Aasa (Harrold), Ricky Cortez and Monica Cortez. Also survived by her sister Norma Rundell and brother Ronald Davis. Darla was a grandmother of 6, Katelyn Aasa, Dakota Cortez, Isaiah Cortez, Landen Cortez, Clancey Cortez and Remington Cortez. Predeceased by her parents Clarence Davis and Luella Davis. She loved her family very much. Darla loved to be in the sun gardening and cooking with her husband. She married her longtime friend and love, Ricardo Cortez, on July 26, 1980. 41 amazing years together. Darla will be missed by all and was a very good mother, sister, wife and best friend. Darla will be cremated by Cloverdale Funeral Services. Celebration of Life will be some time in the spring
