Edward Mleczko Obituary

Edward Ronald Mleczko, 59, of Boise, passed away on Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at a hospital in Seattle, Wash. Ed was born on July 21, 1946 to Josephine Slawinski Mleczko and Edward Mleczko in Chicago, Ill. He attended elementary and high school in Chicago, graduating in 1964. Edward attended the University of Illinois from 1964 to 1969. He enlisted in the Air Force and was honorably discharged on March 2, 1973. While stationed in Denver, Colo. he met Joyce E. Neuharth. Ed and Joyce married on Oct. 23, 1973. Ed resided in Stickney, Ill. working for GM as an accountant until 1977, when he moved to Boise. Ed´s son, David, was born on Dec. 2, 1980. Ed worked for the Department of Labor for 27 years as a Senior Systems Integration Analyst. Ed is survived by his son, David of Boise; one brother, Ron of Green Bay, Wis.; his special friend, Lind Skanter of Boise; and his mother-in-law, Emelia Neuharth of Aberdeen, S.D. Ed enjoyed coffee, telling jokes and listening to jazz music. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Josephine Mleczko; and his wife, Joyce. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at Relyea Funeral Chapel. Friends may call to visit with the family on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery.
