It's taken me quite a while to find the words to write here. I didn't get to know Grandma Betty like most of her other grandchildren, but from what I did know about her, she was very caring and there will never be another camping trip that is the same without her. I only wish I had been able to tell her about her great grandson before she passed away. I love her and she will always be a memory thats not far away.

Back in the day (1982-1987) I worked with Betty at Manley's. This was my first job away from home while I attended college. Everyone called her "Mom". I have fond memories of working there. I keep in touch mostly through her children. I am glad to have known her. It was nice to be able to say good bye to Betty in my mind and have fellowship with her family.

It's been two weeks today since mother passed. I still am confused and still can't quite fathom she is gone and watching our dad lost in lonliness makes it that much harder. I pray that he will find comfort in knowing that they really did share a connection and a relationship that at times was hard. He took on all of her kids and treated them as his own. I will honor her memory in making sure that he knows that she loves him through us.

Grandma was Great. Just flat out awesome. I really appreciated how well she and grandpa took care of me when I was younger. All the conversations we would have about everything.
I remember her always standing at the kitchen sink, staring out the window looking at her beautiful flowers.
I saw pictures of her when she was a lot younger, she was gorgeous.
When she got older she was still beautiful.
Though she is not here physically, She Is here spiritually watching over all of her friends and family and dogs too.
She will forever remain in my heart and thoughts.

I will miss my Grandmother terribly she was one of the few constants in my life. She taught me so much about life and business. I will never forget those days in Manley's Cafe as a little girl helping Grandma roll out pie crusts and filling them with fruit, and after the pies were made, Grandma always let me play with the dough and make cinnamon/sugar crust as a special treat.
Thankyou Grandma for always believing in me and helping me to realize that deep inside of me is a strong willed fighter just like you!! Words can not express how much I will miss you! I love you and thankyou for everything.

My grandmother was the strongest woman I have ever known next to my mother. She had one of the biggest hearts, always giving people multiple chances. She was intelligent, funny, witty, gracious and ever so caring. She had this way about her that when you were down in the dumps she could pick you back up again. She always let you know how she felt, even if you didn't want to hear it. She made you realize your "problems" really weren't so bad afterall. Grandma always had the juciest gossip. She could tell you everything about friends and family members and she'd be sure to call people and pass it along. We will all miss our daily news updates dearly. Grandma was always a fighter and supporter. She fought and fought when she got sick and not ever did she give up. She always had to proove the doctor's wrong. Her persistance and understanding have left a long and ever lasting impression in our lives. Grandma there is not enough time, space, or words to pay tribute to you. I love you and thank you for the life you gave us all.

Words cannot express how much I will miss my dear mother, my friend, my confidant. She was so very special to me and I will miss our daily talks. She fought hard to the end. Her spirit is free now and will see her everytime I look at a flower. She loved her flower garden so much. I love you mom.
