Jacquelyn Roller Obituary

Jacquelyn Roller Jacquelyn Roller, 82, of Boise, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at her home. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2007 at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Boise. Services under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Jacque was born in1925 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Helen Elizabeth Shannon and Jack Wilson Young. As a young child, she was stricken with polio causing her to be paralyzed and survived breast cancer in 1988. In her early years, she worked for Northrop in California. After many years of service as a caregiver to the elderly, Jacque retired in 1988. Jacque was a member of the King of Glory Lutheran Church. She led a full life working, raising her two daughters, and spending time with her grandchildren. A very caring person, Jacque relished in helping others. She was simply known to all as "Grandma". Jacque is survived by her daughters, Roberta (Jim) Niebergall, and Michelle (Bryan) Cook; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, George Roller. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kathleen Romito and Nurse Amy for their many years of support and compassionate care. A very special "Thank You" to Sandie Cortezzo for loving and caring for Grandma so wonderfully over the years.
