I just found out about this. I worked for Simpson from 2000 to 2005. Built the new mill with John and was with him for a while in Shelton. A very fine man and good friend to me. My heart goes out to you.

Dear Carolyn,
words cannot express my sympathy for you and your family. John and I went on weekend camp trips together, rode bikes together, and we even went to Moab for a few days back in 2009. I really enjoyed his company and his friendship. He was a very good man and I will miss him. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Carolyn,
I got to know John through TVTMA and we had many really fun rides together. John was such a fun guy, always cheerful, always willing to lend a hand, always with a smile and some fun stories to tell. We will all miss him. I am so very sorry for your loss.
