John Rohde Obituary

John R. Rohde II, of Boise, Idaho passed away on April 10, 2007. He was 46. John was born in Pocatello, Idaho on April 30, 1960. At the age of one-year, he moved with his family to Boise. He attended St. Mark's Catholic School, West Junior High School and graduated from Borah High School in 1978. He attended Boise State University, graduating with honors and degrees in History and Political Sciences. He had many interest including reading, gardening and family genealogy. John is survived by his parents, John (Bob) and Marjorie Rohde of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Margaret Christine (Bruce) Marks of Covington, Wash. and Marsha Holmes of Pocatello, Idaho; nieces, Camille Marks of Spokane, Wash., Amy Marks of Silverdale, Wash., and Alicia Marks of Covington, Wash., and nephew Robert Marks of Covington, Wash.; great-nephew Justin Fraioli; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive him. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Dragalub Holmes. Vigil services were held Thursday, April 12, 2007. Funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Friday, April 13, 2007 at 12 p.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 7960 Northview, Boise, Idaho 83704. Services are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home.

I went to Jr. and Sr. High with John. I remember most his slow, easy smile, he would always make sure I understood the lessons in whatever class we were in. I would always pick him as a partner in any group activities because he was so smart and fun. What a terrible loss for you, his family. I will always remember him.
