John Tull Obituary
11/24/1953 - 8/23/2014
John Welden Tull, age 60, of Boise, Idaho died August 23, 2014 in an accidental drowning at Salt Creek Beach in Southern California. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Summit Church, 10375 Overland Rd, in Boise with Brandon Capuano (son-in-law) officiating. Following will be a continued celebration to be announced after the memorial service.
John was born and raised in Rialto, CA and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1972, shortly after he moved with his family to Rathdrum, Idaho. In 1987, he moved to Boise and proudly served 21 years in law enforcement for Ada County as a deputy, retiring in 2009.
John was a lifelong fishing and hunting enthusiast, white water rafter extraordinaire, and musician. He lived life to the fullest, always engaging others around him in fun and games, to include practical jokes.
John is survived by his loving wife Lisa of 7 years, his daughters, Shannon Capuano (son-in-law Brandon), Kristin Rogers (son-in-law Jonathan), step sons Tyler Holmes, Will Nelson, & Jake Nelson, Grandchildren Maddie and Marley Holmes, Madison & Adia Rogers, Owen, Domonic, Lilly, and Eden Capuano, and Hunter and Rylah Nelson. John is survived by his parents John & Bunny Tull, his in-laws, Will & Dottie Millsaps, Karen Lambie & John Matson, and Bill & Judy Lambie, sisters, Sandy Edmonds (brother in-law Tommy), Janice Leppard and Robin Larsen (brother in-law Larry), brothers Lil' John Tull (sister in-law Belle), Jerry Tull, Tom Tull, Jamie Tull, and Vincent Horan (sister in-law Karen). John is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
John will be missed by many and mourned by those blessed enough to call him son, husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and cuz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any Washington Trust Bank (John Tull Memorial) to contribute to John's grandchildren's college savings.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Tull family. I am very sorry for your loss. So sadden to hear the news. John and I went to the sheriffs academy together and at one time we're very good friends. He was a good man.

Lisa and Family, we are so very sorry for your loss. We all were shocked to hear this awful news. Last time I saw you and John, he had just drove up on his motorcycle, and was picking you up for lunch. I was lucky enough to get one of his nice big bear hugs! My sincerest condolences to the Tull family. I worked with John in LE. Even in his retirement he was always so busy and active. This is a great loss of a great man.
