Scott, Tonya and Alex: My thoughts and sorrow go out to you and your family. I remember going to visit Scott and Tonya when Jon was about 14. He was always such a sweet guiet and thoughtful young man. But when he started to play those drums he was magnificent. One only hopes that he is truly at peace now and that his parents and brother will somehow try to make some sort of sense out of this. As a co-worker of Jon's father, I know how much he loves his sons. I know for a fact that Jon was truly loved by his family and will be loved by them and all of his friends for eternity. God speed Jon.

Jon was the sweetest person I've ever encountered. His soft nature and vibrant humor were the things I loved most about him. He was always helping anyone he could, and he would do anything for someone who needed him. I'll miss his signature laugh, and his infamous drum tapping on tables, books, and school desks. I'll miss the times he and I had, held up in his room playing Grand Theft Auto and listening to classic rock. I'll miss pulling to his neighborhood, and hearing him play the drums half a block away. Tonya and Scott raised a wonderful son, and a wonderful friend. We'll miss you so much, Jonny!
