Justin Valona Obituary

Justin Valona On Nov. 13, 2007, the Great Adventure of Justin Valona's life ended in Portland, Ore. He was born on Feb. 12, 1981, in Elko Nev. Justin lived his life for the great experience it would give him. He felt his purpose was to touch people's lives in a positive way, hoping to make them think more about the possibilities of their life. He did make a difference in many lives, many he will never know about. Justin's occupation was as a commercial carpenter but his passions were for his brother and his family, learning, books, and writing. His dream was to be a famous writer. He spent all his spare time writing his book. Justin is survived by his mother, Sheri Martin of Elko, Nev.; father, Daniel(Donna) Valona of Caldwell, Idaho, brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Sara (Tristan and Devyn) Valona of Nampa, Idaho; half-sister, Michelle Archuleta (Lawrence and Dylan ) of Nampa; grandmother, Norma Valencia of Montebello, Calif.; grandfather and grandmother, Ron and Roslind Kintzler of Pahrump, Nev.; aunt and uncle Christy and Doug Moore; uncles Rick Kintzler and Steve Valencia; many cousins; step-brothers and sisters, and many life long friends. Once you were a friend of Justin's, you were his friend always. Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery. The family request that those who loved Justin attend. Also, if you had planned to send flowers we would like for you to put that money toward a Writer's Scholarship Fund that will be set up in the Memory of Justin. Justin thought he had lived a full life. He didn't know how much more there was for him. He is now at peace and in the arms of God.

My Dearest Sheri,

I think of you often and saddened to hear of your loss. When people ask me what it is that I want for my children, my answer is simple, I want them to know they are loved. Sheri the way your eyes light up when you talk about your boys or when they entered a room, there was never a doubt the love that you have for them. Justin has gone to heaven knowing this love.

Justin was a truly wonderful person. I have many fond memories of years past. He was quite brilliant and will be missed by many, yet he will be remembered by many as well. I met Justin in elementry school and have considered him a friend ever since. He was the toughest kid I knew but was respectful of those that respected him.
