Coos Bay, Oregon - Dr. Kristi A. Clukey, M.D., a compassionate physician, U.S. Air Force veteran, and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025.
Born on May 26, 1964, Kristi Ann Franklin was the beloved daughter of Tom and Shirley Franklin. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis in 1987, where she also competed as an intercollegiate gymnast. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in 1993 and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Malcom Grow USAF Medical Center from 1993 to 1996. Kristi proudly served in the United States Air Force and dedicated her life to patient care and medical education.
Kristi was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Clukey; her father-in-law; Lyle Clukey her parents, Tom and Shirley Franklin; and her brother, Timothy Franklin.
She is survived by her four daughters: Candace Clukey Pickett (Toby and granddaughter Heidi), Dana Clukey Southern (Tristan), Alexis Clukey, and Aja Clukey; and her siblings: Lisa (Joseph)Stoveken, Thomas J Franklin III and Cheri (Frank) Beauvais and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dr. Clukey will be remembered for her brilliance, warmth, and unwavering dedication to others. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched as a physician, mother, sister, and friend.
A celebration of life will be at the Dille Center 115 14th Ave. South, Nampa, ID Saturday July 26th. We welcome friends and family 11:30-5:00.

OMG she was a great physician and very compassionate. I only had been to her 2 times in Oregon and I was so pleased with her. I was devastated to hear of her passing. My condolences to her whole family but especially to her girls.

I have such fond memories of my cousin Kristi growing up. I spent many summers in San Diego and can still see her bedroom with the many plastic horses lining her shelves. She was kind and funny and made me smile. Oh God of all comfort, surround the hearts now grieving from the loss of such a precious one as Kristi.
