Larry Lindstrom Obituary

Larry W. Lindstrom
1938-2018
On January 22, 2018 our beloved husband, father and grandfather perished peacefully at the age of 79. Larry, a man who loved his family deeply, travelled, and lived everyday as if "Everyday Day is a Saturday", was born November 3, 1938 in Anaconda, MT. The family moved to Ontario, OR his sophomore year of high school, and after graduating, moved to Klamath Falls, OR to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at Oregon Institute of Technology. While attending college, Larry met the love of his life, Naoma, who was by his side after 57+ years of marriage.
The couple moved to Coos Bay, OR, where Larry started his career as a land surveyor, and soon had a son, Dale. They moved back to Klamath Falls, had a daughter, Angela, and resided in the K. Falls community until 1977, when they relocated to Lewiston, ID. In 1982, Larry accepted a civil engineer position with Bechtel which took him to Saudi Arabia, working on an airport and desalination plant. In 1985, Larry returned to Lewiston then moved to Sparks, NV in 1987. In 2004 Larry and Naoma relocated to Boise, ID to start retirement and to be near their children and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife Naoma, his son Dale (Tigard, OR) and his spouse Stephanie and their children Garrett and Ashley, his daughter Angie (Boise, ID) and her children Adam and Alicia, and his brothers Eldon (Omaha, NE) and Chuck (Helena, MT).
Larry will always be remembered for his joyful humor, infectious laugh, sarcastic but teasing remarks, thoughtful conversation, helpful nature, love for the outdoors, life and most importantly his family. His life to be celebrated, remembered and honored now and always will be held at Shephard of the Valley Church on Saturday, January 27. A viewing will be held at 10am, with the service to start at 11am. Services are under the direction of the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
Memorials can be directed to Shephard of the Valley Church.

DAD, Missing you everyday. A Dads love is special. A gift beyond compare. You only know the meaning when he is no longer there. A special time, a special face, a special dad, I can’t replace. With an aching heart I whisper low, I miss you dad and love you so.
