Boise, Idaho - Lars Adam Johnson, died in a pedestrian accident on December 22, 2023, at the age of 50. He was born on May 18, 1973, in Jackson, Mississippi. He grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana attending St. Luke's Episcopal School, Runnels School and Scotlandville Magnet High School. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Photography. He had a strong belief in his artistic vision. He is predeceased by his grandparents Herbert A. LeBlanc, Millie Helmer LeBlanc, Henry A. Johnson and Wanda Jennings Johnson and by his former wife Ami Beattie Janes, the mother of his son, Liam. He is survived by his son Liam Anders Johnson, parents Millicent LeBlanc Johnson and Sheldon A. Johnson both of Baton Rouge, sisters Amelia Gibbs (Brad) of Gonzales, Louisiana and Amanda Johnson (Gary Spoonamore) of Loxahatchee, Florida. He also leaves with his dogs, "the doodles", Bisoux and Freya, loving memories of their walks together. Lars Adam worked in imaging and information technology. He enjoyed traveling and lived and worked across the country including New Orleans LA, Chattanooga TN, Troy NY, Draper UT and last in Boise ID. He was an avid reader and loved learning. He also enjoyed outdoor activities, including cycling, camping, scuba diving, skiing, rock climbing and outdoor photography. A celebration of his life will be planned for a future date. Interment will be at Vandenberg Cemetery in Bayou Chicot, Louisiana.
