So sorry to hear about Leano's death. I remember him as a cute, extremely intelligent little guy at Boise Christian. He was so lucky to have grandparents who raised him in the nurture and admonition of Christ, and it sounds as if he took that teaching to heart . . . at least you have that comfort to hold onto in your grief.

I remember when I first met Leano. It was in Spanish class and he asked if I would help him with his homework. We became Spanish buddies after that. He was such a fun person to be around and I will miss him! He kept the class laughing and having a good time! He always smiled and lifted everyones moods! GOD BLESS YOU LEANO! Rest in Peace.

Pat, Papa Joe and Alysha,
We are so sorry for your loss. Leano had a bright light glowing in his soul from the time he was tiny. He was the perfect combination of his parents. He was a happy baby, and turned into such a fine young man. I know Leano and Angie would have been so proud of him and so thankful to you. I pray that God the Father, and his Son Jesus Christ may lighten your hearts and help you through this very painful time. I know, through my Faith that as "Little Leano's" spirit left his Earthly home, that his Mommy and Daddy were waiting at the gates of Heaven with open arms. I pray that Alysha is able to hold strong to her faith and blossom. God Bless you all, and again so sorry for your loss. Love,
Tiffany Corson-Eck and Family

Leano,
I will remember when we first met and how we bonded over a basketball game. You will always be remembered but I know that you are with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that we will meet again.
Love to you all Pat, Alysha and Grandpa

Hi Papa, Sis Shines and Alysha, my deepest sympothy is with you during this time. My heart is so heavy, but I know that Leano is present with the Lord and is probably now getting to know his parents. He will be sorely missed, but I have to hold on to the fact that God is still in control. Leano will forever live in our hearts, and I pray the Lords strength for each of you, We Love You, and may the Lord Bless you all.

My deepest sympathy in the passing of your loved one. I had known the Hopkins family from the age of 4 on and I've seen enough tragedy and heartbreak already in the family to last a lifetime. The one positive out of this is that Leano can now be in the arms of his mother, Angela.

Leano, you and your family were a part of my life for nearly all of your all too short time with us. Watching you grow and mature brought encouragement after all the trials you endured. May the Lord bless your memory in our hearts.

I will continue this with my memories--years ago I can remember watching Leano and his sister, who were only about 5 and 7 (maybe younger) saying their Christmas and Easter speeches along with our own children, and they always seemed to remember theirs (unlike our kids) lol. Those two were so smart and well mannered! The Shines had us over for Thanksgiving the first year we moved to Idaho. We had such a good time and the food, well let's just say we had to push our seats way back to get in the car to drive home after dinner. Our kids had a ball running, playing and being wild with all the other kids at the house. We love you all dearly. The one thing that is getting me through this whole thing is knowing that we will see Leano again one day and he will have that same mischevious grin of his, because we know he is resting in the arms of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. --Brother and Sister Perry--

One memory I have of Leano was him trying to tell his momma that she packed to much stuff for one of their trips. She even had him weighing the suit case on a scale! He kept saying, "I know what I am talking about, it's to big!" Then he asks, "where's my suitcase?" Alysha gives him this duffle bag and then he says, "That's it, this thing is to small!" I know he will be missed dearly! My heart breaks for your family but knowing that Leano loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind and he is with his Savior gives a sense of peace! Praise you Jesus for the Life and the Legacy of Leano Zephir! Keep playing that piano Leano!
