Mark L. Franklin passed away at his home in Boise, ID, on December 10, 2016, at the age of 61. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Homer Franklin, Betty Squier, and his step father Vanny D. Squier.
Mark was the proud father of three daughters, Tricia Franklin of Boise, Heather Foust (Mark Foust) of Bozeman, MT, and Megan Franklin of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by his brother Keith Franklin and family, and his grandchildren, Devon Foust, Joe Harris, Ethan Franklin, Hailey Foust, Taylor Foust, and Quinten Franklin-Graham.
Mark was born November 24, 1955, and lived in Boise his whole life. His loyalty is evident in his lifelong relationships with friends from Borah High School, from which he graduated in 1974. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the sport as much as playing it. His quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at Kuna Cemetery, 1321 W. Boise St. Kuna, ID, 83634 on Monday, December 19, 2016, at 12:30pm.
Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association at 350 N. 9th Street #404, Boise, ID, 83702. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Mark's memorial webpage at www.summersfuneral.com.

So sorry to hear about Marks passing. Worked many years with Mark and enjoyed hundreds of rounds of golf. My condolences to his family. Mark will now be shooting under par every round in heaven.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Mark. I worked with Mark in Wood River, IL and again in New Johnsonville, TN. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
