Matthew Wilkins Obituary

Matthew was born July 1, 1997 to Don Wilkins and Richelle (Wilkins) Stowe. From the moment he joined our family, Matt was loved and cherished. He chose us and we chose him. We know him as a bright boy with a huge heart and big blue eyes. He was always kind and true. Matthew loved his family dearly. He enjoyed his time at home playing with his brother, Sam, and loved video gaming with his friends and watching movies. He was known as nachocheese666 and was renowned as a "game ninja". Matt loved to read books, especially the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series and laughed until his belly hurt while reading them. Matt loved to travel. Some of his favorite trips have been to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Sun Valley and Maui, Hawaii. Matt loved his Nana's turkey dinners, a good steak and a big plate of sushi. Matt will always be a Sawtooth Middle School Sabercat. His love of learning and wonderful curiosity for all life has to offer will continue on. Matthew will be remembered by his father, Don Wilkins of Meridian, ID, mother and second father, Richelle and Mark Stowe of Meridian, ID, brother, Sam Wilkins of Meridian, ID, grandmother, Sandee Boyce of Meridian, ID, grandfather, Ali Farivar of Tehran, Iran, great grandmother, Glenda Bowen of Meridian, ID, great uncle, Randy Bowen of Meridian, ID, aunts: Nicole (Tim) Hostetler of Las Vegas, NV and Talla Farivar of Los Angeles, CA and uncle, Amir Farivar of San Diego, CA, grandparents, Tim and Teresa Stowe of Meridian, ID, his nine cousins and his dog, Cargo. Matthew's grandfather, Donald F. Wilkins and great grandfather, Lawrence Bowen guided him into heaven on Sunday, November 28, 2010. A celebration service of Matthew's life will be held Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Sawtooth Middle School, 3730 North Linder Rd. Meridian, ID 83646 at 1:00pm. Arrangements provided by Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. Memories may be shared with the family at www.matthewwilkins.com. We express gratitude to our family, friends and all the angels at MSTI Pediatrics. Thank you so much Dr. Hansen, Nurse Mary and Kim White for helping us on this journey and seeing Matthew for who he truly is. Matthew will especially watch over his brother, Sam and his best friends, Cameron, Dre, Austin and Andrew. Matthew, we feel you wrapped around us in love every day. We love you, Matthew, and look forward to the time when we will be together again soon.
