Mollie Alexander Obituary
Alexander Mollie Mae Dearth Alexander was born March 4, 1918 in Parsons, Kan. and passed away March 9, 2006 in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was the only child of John (Jack) Cleveland Dearth and Grace Adelaine Curtis Dearth. She received her elementary education in Wheatland, Wyo. and Whitehall, Mont. Mollie graduated from Whitehall High School in 1936 and attended the University of Montana where she was a member of Spurs, Delta Delta Delta Sorority and an expert marksman on the University Rifle Team. On July 1, 1939, Mollie married her childhood sweetheart, A. John Alexander in Whitehall. they had three sons, 16 grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren: John Robert (Sonia) Alexander, Twin Falls, Mark (Larisa) Alexander, Ashley, Ethan and Kealey; Lisa (Dane) Myers - Alex, Annie and John; Marci (Chris) Boyd and Carson; Mitch (Janelle), Patrick and Joey. Alec James (Susan) Alexander, Boise: Shannon (Bob) Sweet - Sam, Nick and Clara. Holly (Troy) Little - Erin and Taylor; Hailey (Jeff) Frechette - Reed, Blakely, and Ryan; Heidi (Russ) Lindsley - Paige, Jared, and Sam; Meagan Alexander - Grant; Mollie Alexander John (Dorte) Mock - Alex and Michael; Bridget Alexander. Richard Erskine (Danielle Jo) Alexander: Steve, Mike, and Ben Alexander. Mollie was preceded in death in 2002 by her husband of 63 years, A. John Alexander. Mollie dedicated her life to the service of others: her family, friends, neighbors, and anyone in need. She was completely unselfish, caring, and loving. She shared her heart generously and often with a touch, a phone call, or a handwritten note. Her passions were her family, the Episcopal Church of the Ascension and its parish family, her sisters in the PEO Chapter AL, as well as neighbors and friends at Bridgeview Estates where she resided for the past five years. Mom brightened the lives of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 17, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 371 Eastland Dr. North, Twin Falls, Idaho. Memorial contributions should be made to the Church of the Ascension.
