Patrick Patterson Obituary
December 10, 1958 - March 9, 2023
Boise, Idaho - Patrick Wayne Patterson, of Boise, Idaho, passed away from Melanoma at home on March 9th, 2023. He was 64 years old.
Patrick was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Roberta and Darwin Patterson, joining three sisters, Pam, Sara, and Laurie. Shortly after Pat was born the Patterson family moved to Boise. He grew up in the North End and attended Boise High where he graduated in 1977. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed exploring Idaho. His favorite pastime was hunting and spending time in the Stanley area where his parents had a cabin.
Pat went to Boise State, graduating in 1985 with a degree in Construction Management. That same year, he married Cindy Elsner and together they raised their kids, Morgan, Tori, and Andrew in the Middleton area. Pat enjoyed refereeing high school soccer, hunting, buying and selling guns, and his dogs.
Pat was employed by Hewlett Packard from 1983 until his retirement in 2018. He went on to work with HC Company until shortly before his death. He loved the work environment and being part of the team at HC. Pat is survived by his wife, kids, and two grandkids, Bentley and Kalista. He is also survived by his mom and three sisters. The family would like to thank HC Company for their support and compassion, as well as St. Luke's Oncology and Hospice team.
Services will be held in Boise at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 27th at 10:00 am. A celebration of life will follow at Summit Church of Boise, all are welcome.
