Robert Williams Obituary

Williams Robert Keith Williams, beloved husband, father, brother, friend, and son, died Oct. 25, 2006 at home in Boise. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Myrtle, his brother Norman, and his sister Lorraine Hardy. Bob served as an army medic during WW II transporting wounded from France to England, married Anna Louise Gordon Feb. 20, 1947; and had a long career with the Intermountain Gas Company, moving from Boise to Mountain Home and then to Ketchum as a regional manager. He was active in each community, serving in the Lions, Elks, Chamber of Commerce, American Legion, and as a volunteer fireman where he was injured fighting a fire in Mountain Home. Bob is survived by Anna, his wife of 60 years; four children, Bob (Wilsonia), Gordon, Colleen, and Suzanne (Brantley); three grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel Doolittle, and Anne E. Williams; and six siblings, Roberta Jackson, Mary Monson, Violet Benn, and Owen, Leonard, and Jerry Williams. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception at the Cloverdale Funeral Home Reception Hall. Arrangements are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home.
