Boise, Idaho - Ruby Margean Shaver, 86, of Boise, died on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 7, 1935 in Paul, Idaho to Albert Maier and Verna Marie Maier (Himes). She attended and graduated from Acequia High School in 1953 and attended Portland Bible School in 1954. She married David E. Shaver in Rupert, Idaho on June 7, 1957. Together they lived in Salmon, Rupert, Payette and Boise. She was employed at St. Alphonsus and Holy Rosary. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening and exploring the outdoors. She had a special interest in the saxophone and church.
Survivors include her husband, David E. Shaver; 3 sons, Galen, Clyde, and Darrell; brother, David Lee Maier; grand-daughter, Jessica Bramel and great grand-daughter, Isabella Bramel. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Maier; mother, V. Marie Maier; 3 sisters Rosalie Householder, and Darlene and Bernice Maier.
Funeral services will be held at New Life Fellowship, 2601 Heron St., Boise, ID 83702 on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at noon. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 10 – 12. Burial will be held at 12:30 on Monday, December 6th at Rupert Cemetery in Rupert, Idaho.
