Steven Searle Obituary

Steven Searle
October 11, 1974 - April 19, 2022
Eagle, Idaho - From a young age, Steve had the ability to make others smile by dancing, singing, or goofing off - even in the most public of spaces. He was the life of the party and the one to get everyone else into mischief. He had a propensity for fun with "Live it, Love it" as his catchphrase. I'd guess we can all think of a story with Steve that involves laughter and chaos all wrapped into one. Steve had a love of the outdoors that involved snowboarding, snowmobiling, camping, and boating. He loved spending time with his family and friends, creating an atmosphere of entertainment and fun. Steve worked hard during his life as well, building a successful career in landscaping all over this valley as well as in Cascade and Donnelly. He was giving and kind, willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Steve had a huge heart and an even bigger sense of humor. He touched the lives of many and to lose him is an absolute shock and tragedy to us all.
Steve loved and took immense pride in his children and grandchild. They were his life; his everything. He leaves behind his son, Zachary Searle, soon to be daughter-in-law Marti Okamura and grandchild Wesley Searle; daughters Mikayla Searle, and Kennedy Searle as well as a multitude of siblings, in-laws, and people who cared for him deeply. His personality was too big for this world and his memories will live forever in our hearts.
The family would like to invite all who knew Steve to a celebration of his life on Thursday, April 28,2022 at Mccleary's Pub State, 9155 West State Street, Garden City, Idaho, 83714. All ages are welcome from 5pm-8pm. Please come prepared with your favorite memories or stories to laugh, cry, and remember a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.

After spending the past two and half years working with you and talking with you almost daily - my days are incomplete without your phone call or text. :( We will miss you stopping in and flipping us crap! I will keep the picture below as your profile in my phone... My heart pours out to your family left behind. And as one of your friends, we will continue to help your children through this. See you on the other side.... Kelli

We are so sad to hear of Steve's passing. Many hugs to his children and grandchild -- his whole family. We've known Steve for a long time and he talked of his kids...all...the...time. He was a kind soul and funny. So many laughs with Steve! Prayers to the family to get them through this difficult time.
