Zona Hamilton Obituary
1922 - 2012
Zona I. Hamilton, 90, of Boise, died on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at a local care center. Zona was born on March 7, 1922 in Rinard, Iowa to Robert and Blanche Richardson. She moved to Idaho with her family in 1936. Zona married Robert O. Hamilton on October 4, 1937.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Linda) of Boise, and her son, Roy of Boise; her daughter, Beverly (Earl) of Yakima, WA, her daughter, Glenice (Harvey) of Lake Stevens, WA, and her daughter, Della (Andy) of Kearney, NE; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her sister Phyllis, and her parents.
We would like to thank her Marquis Family for all the love and care they have given her over the years and to everyone through First Choice Hospice who have cared for her over the past few weeks.
Zona wrote about her life for a family album that her granddaughter Stephanie made for her.
In the last paragraph of Zona's Life Story she wrote: I am going to close for now and all my love goes with each of you. I love you all. God has been with me in all my trials so far and I know he will still be with me.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cloverdale Road in Boise. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise.
Memorial contributions may be made to Marquis Care at Shaw Mountain, 909 Reserve St. Boise, ID 83712 or First Choice Home Health & Hospice, 12400 W. Overland Road Boise, ID 83709.

Going to miss you Zona. Always a hug and smile when our band came to play at the nursing home. God is hugging a new angel today, you are standing tall and pain-free. God bless.
