David M. Mohn 1957-2017

age 60, of Louisville, passed away at home during the early morning hours of Dec. 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 8, 1957 in Canton. Dave was a graduate of Louisville High School Class of 1976 and Bowling Green State University Class of 1981. He was an avid Ohio State Football fan. Dave worked for Nationwide Insurance for 35 years as a claims manager. He enjoyed working on the family farm and was immensely proud to continue the family legacy as the 4th generation to own and operate the farm. The most important thing in Dave's life was his family and the time he was able to spend with his five children whom he loved whole heartedly.

Dave is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Holly, Kelley, Victoria and her husband, Devin Storch and his future granddaughter, Reagan, Douglas and his wife, Brittany, and Mandy and her cats; mother, Ruth Mohn; and sister, Becky and her husband, Rick Sliter. He is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Mohn and brothers, Gerald and Stephen Mohn.

Dave's family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Center Church of the Brethren in Louisville. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the local charity, NICKSTRONG to support cancer families.
