Larry Shepler Obituary
formerly Uniontown died Friday, Oct.
13, 2017 in his home following an extended
illness. Born April 3, 1943 in
Canton, Ohio to the late Clinton and
Pearl (Ling) Shepler. He was a 1961
graduate of East Canton High School.
Larry retired from Pliant Corp,
formerly a division of Goodyear Tire
Company, in 2004 after 37 years of
service. He was a member of United
Methodist Church Uniontown and the
Uniontown Lion's Club. Preceded in death by one sister, Betty Barr;
three brothers, Fred, Ted and Dan Shepler. He is survived by his wife
of 53 years, Joanne L. (Kahler) Shepler; three children and spouses,
Kristine and Steven Wolfe of Grandville, Mich., Brian and Nancy
Shepler of Flower Mound, Texas, Jeffrey and Brigette Shepler of Akron;
five grandchildren, Melissa (Joe) Weber, Ryan and Jessica Wolfe,
Megan and Haley Shepler; one brother and sister-in-law, Jon and Jane
Shepler of Clearwater, Fla.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in
United Methodist Church Uniontown, 13370 Cleveland Ave NW, Uniontown,
OH. 44685, with Rev Jim Nolte officiating. Interment in Evergreen
Memorial Gardens, Louisville. Friends may call Monday from 5-
7 p.m. in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour prior
to the service at the church on Tuesday from 10–11 a.m. Memorial
donations may be made to United Methodist Church Uniontown or the
