Richard Lee Hershey

Age 71, of Louisville, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home after a brief battle with cancer, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born April 1, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to the late Marvin and Thelma Hershey. Richard was a Marine Corp. Veteran and was retired from the HVAC business after more than 40 years of service. Following retirement, he began working at Enjoys drive thru and loved working with his friends. In his younger years he spent time water-skiing, riding motorcycles and hunting. He also enjoyed Nascar, football, and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Richard is survived by his beloved high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years, Carole (Brahler) Hershey; his daughter, Kendra (Jason) Paxton; his son, Brian (Jennifer) Hershey; a sister, Nancy Griggy; two brothers, Marvin and John Hershey; three grandchildren, Parker Paxton, Cole Travis and Braiden Hershey.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans at donate.dav.org/. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
