David "Bud" Emory
ANDERSON - David "Bud" Emory, 75, of Anderson SC passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
He was born in Polk County, NC to the late Edgar and Daisy Emory. He is the spouse to Joyce Ann Bolt Emory. He was a long time retailer, co-owner of Tops and Fashions and Ace Check Cashing of Anderson SC and the co-owner of Dad and Lad Shop in Hendersonville NC.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons Michael Emory, Terry Emory "Carmen" and Greg Emory "Hope". brother Charles Emory " Norma", sister Patricia Burkehardt "Hank" and grandchildren: Cory, Kyle, Chafen and Hanna Bell Emory.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a sister Ruth Brandon.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 4:00pm with Rev. Frank Whitfield officiating.
The family will be at the residence.
Woodlawn-Sosebee Funeral Home and Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
