Gabriel Thomas McCollum, age 11, of Gainesville, formerly of Toccoa, passed way Thurs. Services will be 2 pm Monday at Toms Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be 4 - 7 pm Sun. at the Whitlock Mortuary.

We kept your desk empty during 2nd and 3rd period, and in 6th period we added notes to the seat you sat in, in 5th period. You will always remain in all our hearts! I didn't know you that well, but in the time I did get to meet you, you seemed really cool! God bless your family! <3

It was my first day at a new school, and you were the first friend that i made. We ate breakfast together and we had 6th period together also. We became good friends and I'm sad that you are gone, but you, my friend, will never be forgotten by me nor many others.
