Josephine "Josy" Nunn

Townville - Josephine Anne Nunn, age 19, of Townville, SC, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021.

She was born on December 31, 2001 in Spring Hill, FL and was a daughter of Thomas Joseph "T.J." Nunn and Virginia Anne Cooper Nunn.

Josy was a 2020 graduate of Pendleton High School where she was a cheerleader, member of Student Government, was in the 2020 homecoming court, and member of the Beta Club. She was currently studying business at Tri-County Technical College. Josy believed in working hard and began her own pet sitting business when she was 13 years old. She had also previously worked at Pizza Buffet, Denver Downs and The Galley and was currently employed with Dominion Senior Living of Anderson. Being a long-time Type 1 diabetic, Josy enjoyed volunteering with Camp Buddy, a diabetic camp for children in Greenville. She enjoyed life and loved helping others and will be remembered for her kindness and her giving heart.

In addition to her parents, T.J. and Virginia Nunn, those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Audrey Nunn; boyfriend of 4 years and the love of her life, Ryan Gambrell; paternal grandparents, Larry and Donna Nunn; maternal grandparents, Randy and Vicki Kirby; paternal aunts and uncles, Ricky and Kathy Nunn, Lea Nunn, Shannon and Mary Alice Nunn, Tosha and Michael Brooks, and Brandon Nunn and companion Katie Kimsey; maternal aunts and uncles, Patricia and Bill Willson, Edward Cooper and companion Kerri Faith Richey, and Sam and Jessica Kirby; Ryan's parents, Lin and Michelle Smith; 27 cousins; and her beloved pets, Caroline, Chevy, Bentley, and Poncho.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Oakdale Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Oakdale Baptist Church with Dr. David Blizzard officiating.
