I had the chance to meet your wonderful son early this year. I wanted to buy his previous car 06 charger srt8 ..because it was exactly what I wanted bright red and 4 doors too. I came to Big O and talked with him about it.. He was sooo nice to me told he would love to sell me his personal car but only after he got his challenger in may. I remember seeing his face light up when he was talking about it..He was so very excited to be getting it. I too shared the same love for cars as he did. I have friends that have known him personally for years I only wished I would have known him longer. The last time I got to see him in person I saw him at sticky fingers on woodruff rd I noticed that red charger and told my girlfriend " theres my charger " I knew it was Tanner because of the nice wheels he had installed. I talked to him for a little and took a snap shot of the car.. I wished I would have took a pic of him.. I didnt get to buy his charger sadly gas is to high. Im so very sorry for your loss. God be with you and the family.

Beverly,
I am writing on behalf of my father "Chico" Peters, from Walterboro, also, myself and my twin sister Jennifer. We have known your family forever. I remember Edisto Beach and your father-in-law Roger, and mother-in-law Nora coming and spending time with the Fulps. I did not know Tanner, but living in Greenville always saw his commercials and admired him so much for taking over where Michael left off. I know that you were proud of him.
We will keep you in our prayers. Always trust in God; He knows best.

My thoughts and prayers are with you...I have not been able to get Tanner off my mind since I received the phone call Mon. afternoon telling me about his accident. I cannot begin to imagine the heartache your family is going through. Tanner was such a great and funny person. I hope your family can keep your faith knowing he is in a better place than all of us that have been left behind. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Beverly, Jake, and Kyle,
My condolences for your tragic loss of Tanner. I will always remember Tanner as a very humble and caring person who always had time for anyone that wanted to talk to him. As Kyle said, Tanner lit up the room whenever he walked in. I am deeply saddened for the loss of my friend but rest easy knowing he touched so many in a positive way.

Dear Dear Odum Family,
My prayers and tears go out to you at this time. Although I didn't know your son, I know your hearts are breaking and yet rejoicing. I too lost my only son-Jason Shane Hill 26 on July 4, 2003 in an auto accident. I know Tanner and Jason are in heaven and rejoicing and telling us it's ok.....My daughter, Lindsay knew Tanner and said what a super guy he was....Each day is still hard and will be hard for each one of you-but know that Gods strength will carry you through each and every day.

To Beverly, Jake, & Kyle,
Words can never express the shock and sadness in the sudden loss of Tanner. What accomplishments in so few years. He enjoyed life. A life cut short, yet one that touched so many others in such a positive way. Hang on to the memories. Know that tears are OK. You will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. Much love to your family.

Although it has been years, I can still remember babysiting Tanner on Academy Rd. I never knew that he was only four years younger than me. He used to follow Michael around everywhere. We both used to sit and watch Michael as he would spot clean the Ferrari. We would wish we were old enough to drive it ourselves. It is only natural for Tanner to share in his love for cars. I have been in the environmental business for 12 years and I always stop to listen when I hear either of their names mentioned. I've grown to respect them both as successful business men. They have succeded in ways that some men don't even grasp in todays world. They both were dedicated in protecting and providing for their families. I have never heard one negative comment about either of them. I am pleased to hear that both Jake and Kyle will be filling their shoes. That shows true family value. I'm sure they will be even more successful, because they have two angels looking over them to protect them. God bless you Beverly. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that God has a task larger than our life that he needs both Michael and Tanner to accomplish. When I hear their names now, I will smile and know that they are following our "Father" in heaven, just as Tanner followed Michael as a child. I wish I could of knew him better, but I don't think I could have respected him more! I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Kindest Regards,
Heather Berry

I felt like I knew this family personally after seeing their commercials on tv. I was so impressed when Tanner's Dad died and he was so young but he stepped into his Father's footsteps and took over the family business. My heart aches for the pain this family is going through and I pray for you each to have the strength to survive it. But I know Tanner is with his Dad again and I hope you can find comfort in that thought. God Bless you all...

I am so sorry for the Odum family's loss and for everyone that knew Tanner. Tanner was one of my favorite people, ever! I would see him in Greenville and it would make my whole night....I remember seeing him out and my friend asking me "where do you want to go", and I would say, "wherever Tanner is going". I will miss his smiling face and hearing him say "WORD"! I do feel comfort in knowing that he is in a better place and with his father and creator. I love you Tanner!
